Peanut Butter and Jelly Cream of Wheat® Recipe
- Peanut butter and jelly just found a new best friend. Sorry, bread, but you're toast.
Ingredients
For the roasted grapes:
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 2 cup black seedless grapes
- 2 tbsp Concord grape jelly
For the Cream of Wheat®:
- 1 ½cup water
- 1 cup milk (your preference)
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ cup Original 3 Minute
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (heaping)
- ¼ cup roasted peanuts, chopped
Directions
For the grapes:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Lightly spray an 8-inch baking dish with nonstick spray, add the grapes and ¼ cup water, and cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Cook for 25 minutes taking time to stir once.
- Remove the foil, stir in the jelly, and continue roasting until slightly caramelized, about 10 to 15 minutes longer.
For the Cream of Wheat®:
- Combine the milk, 1 ½ cups water and pinch of salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Slowly whisk in Cream of Wheat®, stirring constantly, then lower the heat and simmer.
- Stir occasionally until smooth and thickened—about 5 minutes.
- Top your Cream of Wheat® with the roasted grapes and any juices from the baking dish.
- Sprinkle on some roasted nuts.
